Bruce McCoy

Bruce W. McCoy, Jr. is a senior associate with over twenty years of civil litigation, appellate and trial experience defending individuals and businesses throughout New York and New Jersey in matters involving automotive collisions, premises liability, New York Labor Law, professional liability, toxic torts and product liability. Most recently his practice has focused on defending owners, general contractors and subcontractors in personal injury matters typically involving issues of New York Labor Law, contract indemnification and premises liability throughout the five boroughs of New York City. In addition, Bruce’s insurance defense practice has also included the defense of high net-worth artists and entertainers in personal liability actions venued throughout New York.

Notable past trial experience includes the successful defense of a security company in a traumatic brain injury case; the defense of an insured motorist in a left-turn case involving issues of admissibility of photogrammetry for the calculation of a vehicle’s speed; and the defense of a motorist in a seven-car collision involving two plaintiffs and two separate sets of chain-reaction collisions. His appellate experience has included the successful defense of summary judgment obtained in matters involving premises liability, professional liability and employment.
